Missing Left Sock Beast [userpic]

I am getting ready for a marathon session in the kitchen; dinner for the rest of the week, cookies, one last batch of fudge, eggs for breakfast for the rest of the week.

However, I needed to report the following:

rootie_kazootie, your package arrived today.  The card is gorgeous, and the box is still wrapped and propped up against the spider plant that is serving me as a christmas tree this year.  :)  I don't want to wait, but I will wait until probably Wednesday (Solstice) - since I can't fly with wrapped presents.  :(

And I got a "shadow sampler" with two extra skeins of the dark green color...which I just sat for fifteen minutes petting.  However, there was no indication of who it came from...hm...

;)

You can't take wrapped presents on the plane?

Unless the TSA has changed its rules, as I recall, no, you can't.

I admit, the TSA may have changed the rules, but I feel dangerous enough with my knitting. ;)

Peeked over from you know where

I'll confirm it for you-the TSA asks that all gifts in your luggage are not wrapped.

I have nine hours of flying each way coming up in March, so I'm so glad the TSA isn't changing their stance on knitting.

Re: Peeked over from you know where

Oh, good. I'm not losing it.

And, yeah; Although I'm planning to sleep on the trip to Florida in January, the flight back I expect I'll be awake. And I hate flying.

Good luck with your trip.

Re: Peeked over from you know where

Thanks. DC to LA to Oakland, and then vice versa. I can't sleep at all on planes (I learned the hard way on a red eye last summer). It's a business trip, and a lot of my members knit, so they always ask me what I made on the plane on the way out.

Sadly, I was shanghai-ed by my mother this weekend and didn't make it to the post office nor get the two packages I have to send entirely prepared to go. Will have it in the mail soon. I'll let you know when I actually get it mailed.

This time of year is just too damn busy. Or at least it is this year.

It is every year - that's why I wasn't worried about it but was trying to figure out how many packages I had coming in. :)

Just got on line.
I hope you like! :)
Have a great trip!~

I like it very much, have been wearing it a lot, and have gotten many compliments on it. :) Thank you!
