Missing Left Sock Beast [userpic]

My birthday through history

As far as I can tell, nothing good happens in midsummer.  That said, I want to know more about the Feast of Saint Pontius Pilate.  When did he get sainted?

He's a little something on him..

"They also venerate "St Pontius Pilate" on June 25th along with his wife, St Claudia Procla (who is on our calendar). An apocryphal book which is in their extended bible tells the story of Pilate's conversion and subsequent beheading under Tiberius." from this website --------->

Cool, thanks for the information.

Not a problem... :D

Fascinating!

I dunno. I think the death of Custer might be considered a good thing to some people. ;)

That's weird! St. Pilate, I mean.

Yeah - weird, but kinda fascinating.

A couple of months ago I posted a one-line entry:

"What if it was Judas who died for our sins?"

It got no discussion, but I think the fact that I thought it at all says a lot about how I approach Christianity, if not Religion in general.
