Coyote handsome
his coat the same brown

What is the sound of one hand slapping Schroedinger's cat?

And she was back this evening and got in again because I wasn't quick enough to block her...

Feeling:: blahblah

You know you want her to stay!

Of course I do!

But I can't really afford her. And the rodents were here first.

And, well...I think she must belong to somebody, and I'd feel awful about taking someone's pet.

That's what I'm afraid of...

I told artslave that she's playing on all my instincts; she's declawed, but her family lets her roam. She sat outside my apartment and miaowed loudly at me when I finally shut her out.

She's cute! She likes you!

She is cute, and yes, she does...but I can't afford her!

So strange, though. Yesterday when I came home I was careful to check around for her, since she's been hanging around the apartment door. I didn't see her anywhere, but when I turned the deadbolt she came racing up the stairs. I sat down and talked to her a bit about the fact that mi casa was not her casa and she purred up a storm sitting on my lap, then managed to get in anyway when I opened the apartment door. I closed the bedroom door (keeping her away from las rattas) and let her have her way while I did yoga (not a good precident, I know). She explored, rubbed up against me in various poses (Ack! Cattail! Nose! Table pose!) and then walked over to the door, so I let her back out and she didn't return. Go figure.
